9 Jan - WORLD Pool Champ Bata Reyes was playing at Magaritaville
and we got to meet him again and extend a few nice pleasantries.

It was a grand time at MAgaritaville. The street was packed with people watching him!

30 December 2000 - Saturday Night on the Town.
18 pool players in Angeles City got to try their luck against homeboy Efren Reyes
at the Mirrors Club located at our favorite hotel -CLARKTON HOTEL
The highlight was when the last player ( a 15-year old short kid) did an amazing
exhibition of calm cool nerves and skills to win his game against the world champion!
And ya all missed it! I'll remember to try and get a video player going next time.

Efren is one heck of a great man to meet. Incredibly nice humble guy who just so happens
to be a World Champion as well. He is from Angeles and I hear he'll be coming back to
play local residence again soon. Only this time let's see some out of town talents too.
Watch for the announcement and map of the location next time the man sets the plan!

Angeles City is becoming the capital city of Billiard Pool halls!
And they aren't bad at all. Some of the new places are better
looking than most Jazz bars! 3 of the best looking ones are
in Balibago near Casino Filipino. A new one just opened by the
2nd gate of Diamond Subdivision. It's a new craze in this town!
Ever since BATA became a world champion. And you know he's from
Angeles City.

MAGARITAVILLE will be serving Christmas meals.
